In this role, Austin’s responsibilities include the underwriting, analysis, and evaluation of select housing projects, the preparation of financial reports and exhibits, and forecasting of project funding requirements and investment activities. Austin works to ensure that all projects are viable and meet the underwriting guidelines of CR Builders. He coordinates closely with all departments of CR Builders to provide both fundamental and technical analysis of market trends, development costs, as well as current and projected operating costs of housing projects.
Prior to his role at CR Builders, Austin spent five years working in economic development for the Big Sky Economic Development Authority, having most recently served as their Economic Development Policy Project Manager. Austin is originally from Billings, Montana. He attended Montana State University-Bozeman before returning to Billings to finish his degree in Political Science at MSUB.
